Using the Menu
Opening
Open the menu with /jobmenu or press F4. Both can be changed with Config.Command and Config.Keybind, and players can rebind the key in their FiveM key bindings.
Job list
The job list sits in the bottom right corner. Each job card shows:
- The job icon
- The job name, or the custom name set by the boss
- The player's grade
- The salary, with
Config.Currencyin front
The active job and the player's duty status are clearly marked. When a player has more jobs than fit, the list scrolls.
Job limit
With Config.EnableJobLimit turned on, the menu shows a counter such as 2/5, using Config.MaxJobs as the maximum. The counter turns red once the player is full, and they cannot be hired into another job until they leave one. The limit is off by default, so players can hold unlimited jobs.
Switching jobs
Click a job to make it the active job. Players have to wait Config.SwitchCooldown seconds between switches.
Duty
Use the duty button to go on or off duty for the active job. This fires the normal QBCore duty events, so anything that listens for duty changes keeps working.
Leaving a job
Players can remove a job from themselves. The job card asks for confirmation before the job is removed.
Jobs listed in Config.LockedJobs cannot be removed by the player. Use this for jobs like the unemployed job, or jobs that should only be removed by staff.
Management
Players who can manage their active job see a button that opens the management window. See Management and Permissions.
Messages
Every action shows a toast message. All player facing text is in Config.Text, ready to translate.
