Troubleshooting
If SB Containers is not working as expected, check the following areas before making changes to the resource files.
Containers Are Not Saving
Check that:
sbcontainers.sqlwas imported into your server database.
Also check the server console for database errors.
If you recently switched inventory systems, make sure the appropriate conversion command was completed.
Container Item Does Not Exist
If players cannot use a container item, verify that it was added to your inventory system.
For QBCore:
qb-core/shared/items.luaFor ox_inventory, verify the item was added to the ox_inventory item definitions.
Container Cannot Be Placed
Check:
- The player has the correct container item.
- The inventory system is configured correctly.
- Your target resource is running.
- The container is enabled in the configuration.
- There are no client errors in F8.
Admin Panel Does Not Open
Check administrator permissions and make sure the resource is running.
Test:
/sbcontainersThen check both the server console and F8 console for errors.
Existing Containers Are Missing After Changing Inventory
If you changed inventory systems, the existing stash data may need to be converted.
QBCore to ox_inventory:
convertcontaineroxox_inventory to QBCore:
convertcontainerqbRun the command with an empty server and wait for the success message before restarting.
Database Errors
Check that oxmysql is running and that the database connection is working.
Also verify that:
sbcontainers.sqlwas imported successfully.
